News at Aqueduct Conference Center

Extreme Home Makeover

The Aqueduct property includes an old white farm house which initially drew Rev. Tommy Tyson to build the conference center.  This fall through an unusual set of circumstances we found it necessary to refurbish the house in less than two weeks!  For every potential obstacle, God had the answer ready before we knew to ask.  The contractors and painters which are usually hard to book on short notice suddenly had a week open due to problems on another site.  We received phone calls from people connected with Aqueduct who were unaware of our need.  They suddenly had furniture to donate!  Others gave their time and energy to help with repairs and decorating.  We had no idea we would be doing this project in the fall, but God did and provided for our every need.

 Christmas Open House

We started the Christmas season on the right note with our Christmas Open House.  Over 200 people attended this special evening.  Everyone enjoyed holiday sweets, a cup of Christmas cheer, and performances of the Triangle Youth Mission Chorus, CANTIQUE, and Trinity School Chorus(in photo).  We finished the evening by inviting everyone to sing along to favorite Christmas carols.

This could easily become an annual tradition of ringing in the Christmas season!
