The renovations at Aqueduct are symbolic of the restoration occurring in the ministry and business. Although it has been a large undertaking to refurbish and update all aspects of Aqueduct while meetings are being held, the success of the renovations is due to our understanding guests, cooperative staff and donated time and energy from experts in the field.

The logistics of the project have been in the capable hands of Drew and Liza, and they have seen firsthand how the Lord has orchestrated many of the details, from scheduling painters, to installing light fixtures, to finding fabulous deals on consigment store furniture.

"One of the most generous blessings that we have received has been the heavenly assignment of a Designer Angel also known as Lucinda Poole," said Liza. She has given of her time and expertise and has completely transformed Aqueduct -- not only that, but she has been such a joy to work with and we are forever grateful for her direction."

Lucinda Poole, local interior designer, brings 10 years of experience in the industry and an energetic attitude to all of her endeavors. Aqueduct has held a special place in Lucinda's heart for several years, and she looked forward to helping redesign the interior when the time was right.

"When I walked into Aqueduct, the vision I wanted to create was one that would be a backdrop for the natural beauty -- the view is incredible," said Lucinda. "Everything is coming together, and I truly believe that all of the things that occurred to help with Aqueduct's renovations are blessed."

Another major project was to renovate the kitchen, bringing it up-to-date with county code requirements. The Lord, in His perfect timing, assembled a team of friends and tradesmen who made short work of the long list. Many things to the people who made it possible for us to receive our permanent operating permit: Joel Currie and William Woods; Aqueduct staff; Peter Theye, electrician; John Lovingood, family friend and contractor; Greg Owens and Scott Cox; Dee Hearne, master carpenter, and crew.
